Secret Santa by Andrew Shaffer is a #fiction #horror book about an #evil German doll that kills people.

I checked this book out from @seattlepubliclibrary because it seemed like a #fun and #ridiculous #holidayread - boy was it! 5/5 Christmas Trees :)


Lussi is a #bookeditor who starts a new senior editor position at an old Publishing House. At the #holidayparty Lussi receives this strange German doll from her Secret #Santa and then people slowly start dying or getting seriously injured after Lussi wishes I’ll on them. Lussi now must uncover some secrets of the past to stop the killings.


Shaffer has also written the #ObamaBidenMysteries which I haven’t read but their covers score an 11/10


If you liked Secret Santa, I also recommend My Heart is A Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones, Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff, Little Eyes by Samantha Schweblin, and Mexican Gothic by Sylvia Moreno-Garcia.
